Quality Report 2023 of the Finnish National Digital Preservation Services Published

The 2023 quality report for the Finnish National Digital Preservation Services (DPS) is published. The report describes the main results of the year 2023 for the DPS, the partner organizations that use the DPS and, in particular, the maintenance of the DPS during 2023. The main objectives of the DPS maintenance are:
- ensure the integrity and availability of archival information packages in preservation,
- monitor the functionality of the service; and
- support organizations in utilizing the DPS services (e.g. fixing invalid or incomplete submission information packages detected during ingest).
The report includes, among other things, data accumulation from 2023, a summary of the monitoring of the DPS, quality deviations in the data preserved during the year, and new features in software development.
